Missing Your Ex

I Miss My Ex! What Should I Do?

When was the last time you thought to yourself or said to a friend, “I miss my ex.”  Just last week?  Yesterday?  Today?

If you’re currently going through a breakup but still love your ex, then you’ve probably said that many, many times.  The key is to figure out exactly why you feel that way, and then take the appropriate action to either move on or get your ex back.

So let me ask you this, “Why do you miss your ex?”  Do you miss him or her just because you feel sad, hurt, and lonely?  Or do you truly love him or her and know that your relationship problems are things you can resolve and get past if given the chance?

If you only miss your ex because you don’t like the feeling of being alone, then that’s probably not a good enough reason to want to get back together.  However, if you truly love and care about your ex and know the two of you are a good fit, then working things out is a fantastic possibility.

One method you should consider if you want to stop missing your ex and want to start loving the hell out of each other again is text messaging.  I know that sounds a little strange on the surface.  Maybe you tried texting your ex already and got no response.

But here’s the thing I love about texting.  Even if you get no response, your message still reaches your ex.  Therefore, it can still have an impact and can slowly bring your ex back around to the idea of getting back together.

If you call your ex, they can simply not answer the phone.  They never hear what you have to say.  If you send them a text, chances are they read it, even if they don’t respond.  Sure, there’s the possibility they delete your messages without even reading them, but that’s usually the exception rather than the norm. After all, curiosity is a powerful thing.

So if your miss your ex, don’t be afraid to try texting.  Just do it in the right way.  Sending your ex a text every hour on the hour when they don’t respond is a sure way to drive them away for good.  The same is true if you send texts that sound needy, clingy, or desperate.
